1. What essentials must we have in your climate?

Sun block, comfortable shoes, light clothing. These and everything else can be purchased most times form your hotel and definitely on the island itself.

2. Are doctors readily available?

Yes. Most hotels have an assigned doctor who is on call 24 hrs a day.

3. Can we get married on the island while we are here?

Yes. Please contact the hotel to get all the details before you get here.

4. Is the island and Resorts children-friendly?

The island is indeed children friendly. St. Lucians adore children. The only resorts which do not encourage children are those who cater to couples only. Please confirm with your travel agent when making accommodation reservations.

5. Are there taxis readily available on the island?

One will recognize them by the TX which they carry on the number plates. Most hotels have a group of taxis assigned to them. There is an island wide tariff which is used, please ask your Front desk at the hotel to assist you with obtaining a taxi.

6. Where are the best beaches on the island?

The island boasts many beaches all over the island. For the adventurous, you may hire a car, make sure you have a map and find your own idyllic spot, or, got to one of the close by ones which are undoubtedly steps away from your hotel.

7. Where and what is Rodney Bay?

Rodney Bay is the most picturesque and relaxing area on the island and has been designated as a Tourist area as all the better beaches, yachting facilities, Hotels and Resorts, nightclubs are located in this area, making it the most popular area on the island.

8. When is the best time to visit the island?

Year round. But we normally attract most of our visitors during your winter from November to May. Also during major attractions such as the ARC and Jazz Festival.

9. How far is the airport from Rodney Bay?

We have 2 airports. The Hewanorra International Airport, which caters to the international flights located to the south of the island approx. 70 minutes by taxi, 15 minutes by helicopter. There is also the George FL Charles airport which is 15 minutes away by taxi and caters to the smaller aircrafts.
