No doubt there are better beaches in the Caribbean by some measure, but overall the beach experience is good.
Antigua version of “all-inclusive� means that almost everything you and your family need will be available without having to sign, remember a password or show a bracelet. Their all-inclusive package provides a few surprises like a two-hour catamaran cruise excursion to Green Island and a roundtrip taxi ride into the capital city of St. John’s for shopping. Each day it also includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, plus all beverages as well as evening entertainment.
Unlike most other all-inclusive vacations in Antigua the all inclusive vacations does not have timetables and organized activities. If guests want kayaks they are available and waiting at a nearby beach. If windsurfing, sailing on a sunfish or snorkeling sound like fun then just ask and the equipment will be ready. Another option is a pedal boat and water skiing is offered once or twice a week. A unique offering is the in-pool scuba demonstration with the option to continue for the full course culminating with ocean dive.

True to its claim of offering a bit of everything, one can golf, scuba dive, enjoy watersports, or take a glass bottom boat ride. If you want a bit of lively fun, circle the island on the famous three hour “Jolly Roger� cruise, and watch your travelling companions slowly fall victim to sweet but potent rum-punch. A few casinos on the island, including the larger King’s Casino in St. John’s, are quite prepared to take your money if you so choose! Shopping for duty free goods, local crafts, and souvenirs is convenient in the downtown area of Heritage Quay, and a variety of restaurants and bars will offer ample choice for a one or two week vacation. Some discos in St. John’s and selected hotels serve up dance music or live entertainment for those looking for a little nightlife, Ribbett’s being the most popular.
